Katie's previous experience includes serving as the California Director of Policy at Gridworks, and as a Regulatory Analyst and Supervisor at the California Public Utilities Commission. Her expertise covers energy efficiency and building electrification planning and implementation, regulatory analysis, advanced rate design, and fossil gas transition policy issues.

Katie holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolution from UC San Diego.

Katie believes that we are people first, and we should be allowed to show up as whole, flawed, and evolving people in our professional lives. A life-long learner and wisdom seeker, she aims to bring a beginner's mind to projects, allowing new ideas, approaches, and perspectives to develop.

Katie is an avid traveler and loves to explore local and faraway places and cultures. She practices yoga and meditation to keep her grounded.
