Developing a Landscape Assessment for a Policy Advocacy Strategy

As a primarily workforce development and training organization, Rising Sun enlisted Common Spark Consulting to create a landscape assessment of the climate and energy policy space to see if there was any valuable role Rising Sun could play in policy advocacy. Through research and interviews with staff, board members, and external partners, Common Spark presented Rising Sun with a set of recommendations on where Rising Sun’s voice would be valuable and what needs to be internally operationalized for a sustainable policy advocacy strategy.
